Immersed in a Kingdom lifestyle

What directs your life? What do you want to stand out when you reflect back?
A faith-filled life may not always be easy, but it is always worth it.

1. Be filled by the Spirit to pour out the fruit of the Spirit.
So much to unpack in that one phrase! I remember hearing that quote in the past couple of years, and it was powerful. It’s got me considering what I’m doing to be filled up by Him. Maybe it’s worship. Maybe it’s reading His word. Or maybe it’s acting as His hands and feet. How are you being called to be filled up by the Spirit? Related, aren’t you grateful we have the fruit of the Spirit? It’s a beautiful form of measurement. Is what you’re doing producing love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control? (Galatians 5:22-23)

2. Love others well.
1 Peter 4:8 says, “Above all, love each other deeply because love covers over a multitude of sins." It can sometimes be hard to put yourself out there. Keeping to yourself can feel natural and easy, but it’s not healthy to be closed off. Let’s be intentional about caring for others and doing it in a way that speaks to them.

3. Take risks for the sake of the gospel.
Good, right? I’ve got the question, "Am I willing to take risks for the sake of the gospel?" on a post-it to the left of my desk. I walk to live boldly for Jesus and consider what I’m doing (or not doing) to make that happen.

4. See joy in the little moments.
Because this is what life’s all about, right? It’s the journey. I don’t want the little things to pass me by because I’m too consumed with my to-do list or stressed about what isn’t going exactly as I envisioned.

5. Expect the unexpected.
God can and will do more than we could ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Are you honouring Him by thinking big? Doing big? Praying big? Our God is more than capable, so let’s expect the unexpected. Won’t He do it!

6. Feed others with His truth.
I’ve heard that the best way to learn something is to teach it. I’ve been convicted lately to dig more into His truth and teach His world and how to apply it. Consider what that looks like for you! What biblical truths have been or are especially true for you? How can you share about that, and who in your circles needs to hear that encouragement?

7. Be patient, loving, gentle.
I often feel challenged to become more patient, loving, & gentle  I’m challenged to remember that we will never reach perfection on this side of heaven as much as we crave it. I desperately need and want God’s grace and because of that, it’s so important for me to give that grace to others, too.

8. Surrender.
Isaiah 55:8-9 says “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” And it’s so true! Surrender can be simple. But simple isn’t always easy. The Lord truly sees the big picture, and we do not. He is good & is trustworthy and I look forward to getting more curious about what He wants than what I want (and I hope you do, too!).

Lets keep the Kingdom central as we immerse ourselves in His ways.

Church on Sunday at Strodes College, Egham

welcome 2

Our Sunday service starts at 11:00 a.m. and typically lasts about 90 minutes.

We start each service with lively worship with songs from around the world, followed by inspired Bible-based teaching. All our sermons are recorded and are available as a podcast after the service.

We have a monthly cycle of Sunday services, with our Communion Service being on the first Sunday of each month and an All-Age All-Nation Service on the second Sunday of each month. Our other Sunday services include Spirit-focused and teaching services.

We have consciously adopted being a blended church that is both for those online and face-to-face. You are welcome to join us on Livestream or via Facebook, Linkedin, YouTube, or X (Twitter), or you can catch up and watch the recordings later.

Joining us in person

Visiting a new and unfamiliar church for the first time can be intimidating, but we want to ensure you feel welcome and enjoy your time with us. A friendly face will be waiting to meet you at the entrance and welcome you.

Doors open at 10:30 a.m. Our Sunday Service starts at 11:00 a.m. and typically runs for about 90 minutes, sometimes followed by tea and coffee.

Driving and Car Parking

Our Sunday Morning Service is now held at Coopers Hall, Strodes College, Strodes College Lane, Egham, TW20 9DR, which has plenty of Parking. Click on the link for directions to RCF.

We have plenty of parking spaces right outside the building. Spaces are reserved near the entrance for anyone with mobility problems (for those with a blue badge). Please let us know if you need to use one of these spaces, have any special needs, or require any assistance.

The car parking area is a public area, so please ensure that your children are under your control and that, for their safety, they do not run around in the car park.

Visiting with children?

Everyone is welcome at RCF. We encourage everyone, young and old, to join the service. We have Sunday School, which starts after worship and runs during the sermon for 30 to 40 minutes for children aged 5 to 13. On the second Sunday of each month, we have a shorter All-Aged All Nations Service, where the children stay for the worship and the sermon.

After Church

We chat over coffee and biscuits after church on the first, third and fourth Sundays. If you want to get more acquainted, why not join us for a Sunday lunch with some of our members? The meal is on us! Please contact us and let us know. We would love to share a meal and get to know you better!
